Wunderlich Kaplan is opening its doors to #BossBabes everywhere through The Enternship. The agency will teach women how to create PR campaigns, plan events, write pitches and press releases, research for clients and more. Additionally, blogging and v-logging, emerging communication technologies and the ins and outs of social media and digital strategies will be explored. Not only will the women gain hands on experience, they will also begin to make new connections in the real world, which let’s face it, we all know is key in the business of Media Relations.

GWEN WUNDERLICH

CEO + PARTNER

Bringing nearly 20 years of public relations experience like, working with some of the most recognizable fashion, beauty, luxury, lifestyle brands and celebrities in the world, Gwen has her polished finger on the pulse of the next big trend.
Ever the entrepreneur, Gwen began her big business path with the smallest business imaginable, the iconic neighborhood lemonade stand. As a child, she would produce makeshift backyard circuses and charge the neighborhood kids to see the big show. There was no stopping her from earning enough money to buy her first Honda scooter, which she purchased using her circus funds and Bat Mitzvah money, only to crash it a week later. An internship while attending F.I.T., with Patricia Field put Gwen on the path to public relations success.
Gwen spent two years as a Senior Account Director at Dan Klores Communication before bursting out of the corporate box to build three successful companies of her own. With her former partner she started FYI Media in 2001 and in 2009, she opened the doors to Wunderlich, Inc. Notable clients include Henri Bendel, Patricia Field, Jo Malone, Maserati, Kelly Osbourne, Camp Beverly Hills, Absolut Vodka, Anthony Nak, the NFL, 1800 Tequila, Dwell Home, astrophysicist Dr. Neil DeGrasse Tyson, and MTV Cribs.

“Your website declares, “They call us dreamers but we’re the ones that don’t sleep.” I am that woman, 52, newly re-imagined with a dream, ready to give the world such as I’ve been given. Just because we have little time and none to waste does NOT mean our dreams cannot be realized. We must try. We are called to try. I’m ready to take a sledgehammer to the status quo and get started.”

-Rochelle W.

We’ve witnessed our friends face uncertainty on how to approach the workforce after several years at home. It’s estimated that today in the United States there are upward of 3 million women who have advanced college degrees who are trying to re-enter the workforce. Our mission is to reach these women and offer them a solution to get back to work.

“ Thank you for recognizing that we have value and can out do the millenniums all day everyday. You can’t beat life experience whether it be in the workforce or in life its self. We are not entitled. We worked hard. Had good work ethics and you would/should be proud if you could scoop one of us up. Enough said.”
