Wunderlich Kaplan is opening its doors to #BossBabes everywhere through The Enternship. The agency will teach women how to create PR campaigns, plan events, write pitches and press releases, research for clients and more. Additionally, blogging and v-logging, emerging communication technologies and the ins and outs of social media and digital strategies will be explored. Not only will the women gain hands on experience, they will also begin to make new connections in the real world, which let’s face it, we all know is key in the business of Media Relations.




Bringing nearly 20 years of public relations experience like, working with some of the most recognizable fashion, beauty, luxury, lifestyle brands and celebrities in the world, Gwen has her polished finger on the pulse of the next big trend.
Ever the entrepreneur, Gwen began her big business path with the smallest business imaginable, the iconic neighborhood lemonade stand. As a child, she would produce makeshift backyard circuses and charge the neighborhood kids to see the big show. There was no stopping her from earning enough money to buy her first Honda scooter, which she purchased using her circus funds and Bat Mitzvah money, only to crash it a week later. An internship while attending F.I.T., with Patricia Field put Gwen on the path to public relations success.
Gwen spent two years as a Senior Account Director at Dan Klores Communication before bursting out of the corporate box to build three successful companies of her own. With her former partner she started FYI Media in 2001 and in 2009, she opened the doors to Wunderlich, Inc. Notable clients include Henri Bendel, Patricia Field, Jo Malone, Maserati, Kelly Osbourne, Camp Beverly Hills, Absolut Vodka, Anthony Nak, the NFL, 1800 Tequila, Dwell Home, astrophysicist Dr. Neil DeGrasse Tyson, and MTV Cribs.



Having founded a successful social media and digital media agency at 26 years old, entrepreneurship and out of the box thinking is part of Dara’s DNA. As an early adopter of social media, Dara combined her fashion and beauty experience to help iconic brands launch and manage their digital strategy. With a keen understanding of what drives, inspires, and influences, Dara creates innovative high impact media campaigns that deliver strong ROI and results that move the needle.
A fresh thinker and well experienced in the business of luxury goods, Dara’s past industry experience includes buying, sales and press for internationally acclaimed brands, launching star-studded events, creating national campaigns, spearheading creative social media activations and executing luxury store openings for companies such as Kiki de Montparnasse and Donna Karan. Other clients have included Naja.co, Roni Blanshay Jewelry, CVS, Pantene, Skype, Laura Mercier, Shiseido, Tumi Luggage and St. Ives.

At Wunderlich Kaplan Communications, Dara focuses on big-picture client strategy, influencer marketing and buzz-generating campaigns as well as acting as the behind-the-scenes expert on top beauty, luxury and lifestyle accounts. Dara is also an established beauty writer, globe-trotting travel editor, jewelry designer and a lover of all things that sparkle! With a strong case of wanderlust, when not working you will find her climbing to the top of a mountain, wandering through an ancient city or exploring a far flung beach.

We’ve witnessed our friends face uncertainty on how to approach the workforce after several years at home. It’s estimated that today in the United States there are upward of 3 million women who have advanced college degrees who are trying to re-enter the workforce. Our mission is to reach these women and offer them a solution to get back to work.
